Our Staff
Paul D. Braden, Transition Pastor
Pastor Paul graduated from Easton High School, and then attended Brown University and the Harvard Divinity School. After serving a Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod congregation in Rochester, NY for five years, he returned to Easton; and twenty years he worked with his father in the family business, Braden's Flying Service in Forks Township. In 1997 he returned to the pastoral ministry, this time in the ELCA; and he served at Salem, Bethlehem for 15 years.
Since he retired from full-time ministry in 2012, Pr. Paul has served for four years as transition pastor at St. Timothy, Allentown; and then for about a year each at St. Mark, Bethlehem Township, St. Paul Third, Easton, and St. Paul, Fountain Hill. He now serves as transition pastor at St. John.

Pr. Paul is married to Paula Herron, who with her brother, Demetri, owns and operates Herron Funeral Homes & Crematory with locations in Bethlehem and Allentown. He has three adult children: Elizabeth, Kathryn, and Matthew; and five grandchildren (three boys and two girls, ranging in age from 10 years to 1 year.
Jill Kerbaugh, Parish Secretary
After many years as an administrative assistant at The Children's Home of Easton, Jill retired from that full-time position and became the parish secretary at St. John's.
